April 2018 Volunteer Training Course

Role of a Home-Start Volunteerset2

Volunteering with Home Start is a really rewarding experience and can genuinely help to improve peoples lives.

One of the MOST important elements of Home-Start volunteering is that the help proffered to families actively contributes to helping to improve the life chances of pre-school age children – something that benefits everyone. There is a lot of research now which suggests that help in early years can be key to future development.

Please see our information leaflet here HSCWC Volunteering

If you would like to volunteer for Home-Start Central & West Cheshire, we ask you to do some training in preparation before being placed with one of our families.

We have received 100% Positive feedback from people attending our course – learn new things, share experiences, become empowered!

There are 6 sessions, held once a week, 9.30am – 2.30pm, Lunch will be provided by us and travel expenses can be refunded to you.

Our next course will start on Friday 20 April 2018
